Records of the Australian Student Christian Movement [manuscript]. 1895-1997.

The material constitutes the national level records of the ASCM. Two thirds of the collection consists of correspondence, the greater part being to and from the presiding General Secretary (until 1907 the presiding Travelling Secretary). The other third consists of minutes and reports relating to National Executive, General Committee, Business Convention, State Councils, Schools and Conferences. Included also are the records of the Student Volunteer Movement (S.V.M.) 1896-1919, and the records of the Foreign Service Fellowship, which appears to succeed the S.V.M., beginning in 1927. The remaining material consits of records of special committees and commissions, finance, visits from prominent overseas speakers, reports to the W.S.F.C.F. and memoranda and general memorabilia.

The Australian Student Christian Movement, until 1913 known as the Australian Student Christian Union, is affiliated with the World Student Christian Federation (W.S.C.F.).
